I am pleased to say that I have finalized my reservations with Amtrak and I have purchased the ticket. I am going to visit my girlfriend. I have also acquired Terre Thaemlitz : Tranquilizer Deep Space Network : Big Rooms Future Sound Of London : Lifeforms-Paths 1-7 I also only paid $4.25 for the three of them. How did I do this amazing feat? Simple. Through the amazingly insipid policies of columbia house. It is easy to do many things when your local record store has a trade in policy and you happen to get a large package of music from the good folks at crc. I got 12 cds free. I took 8 of them, taped them, and took them to the record store when I knew that the person who was working would not remember to check and see if they were from a music club (Record stores can not get manufacturers credit on music from record clubs...) So i traded in 8 mediocre columbia house cds for these three and the difference was only $4.25. Problem solved. There is no stopping true love..of music or other people... I will see my girlfriend next weekend...and i will ride the train listening to these discs! It must be a cosmic sign...while everyone was saying "Buy the music instead of the ticket" someone out there somewhere was looking favorably down upon me. This cosmic person knew that my love was meant to be...so he sent me the bright idea that saved the day..and my heart froom more angst...and my wallet from shelling out big dough at the record store... (whats funniest of all is that the columbia house thing is not even in my name!!! I cann sign up under my name and get all the cds i traded in back for free!...or $1.86) Well. So ended the saga...and as soon as i am finished here i will go and listen to these...although i really feel like doing that right now...but business before pleasure (most of the time) later jasonosaj
