Hello chaps and chapesses, I just got the new Dust Bros 'My Mercury Mouth'ep on JBO. On first listening ** excellent! **. ... But, (on mine) the pressing quality is fucking terrible. Really spoils it . i hate that. I havent noticed any of the other JBOs sounding crap. If is was to take it back and swap it for another copy, are the chances that it would be just as bad? ie. is the crackling on the stamper/master and transferred to all copies, or could i have a dodgy one? Another top one i just picked up (dunno if the original 12" is old hat by now or not) - the Velocity 'lust' rmxs i think the orig is DJ Kid Paul, rmxs by Simon Berry (Platypus) someone ive forgotten, and Rabbit in the moon <- top rmx! buy on sight. The 12 i have is liscenced by Guerilla in the UK from superstition (who?). later, Chris .

Actually Superstition is a Play It Again Sam label, and has no affiliation to Eye-Q. It's based in Hamburg, unlike Eye-Q, which is from Frankfurt. Oliver Lieb (i.e. Spicelab) has his best work on Superstition (I think). -robert

Oliver Lieb has stuff on Superstition, Eye-Q and Harthouse, amongst others.... Cosmic
