I'm *quite* sure this is not really idm but it is kinda techno related whether you like it or not... Please don't draw any conclusions at all about me or the people mentioned... This is just an observation... Following on from my Megadog review... OK. I go to this Megadog thing, I'm with a group of 4 lads and 5 girls. After arriving the girls tell us they've all dropped half an E. Right, fair enough, I thought, this might be a good opportunity to check out the effects... (interestingly all five of the girls are Medical student undergrads... you would not believe what medics get up too... :) Basically for the first 2 hours..nothing... I mean, I'm not like walking round with a stethoscope or anything but still, I was interested... They all seemed to get well into everything and then sure enough all the reported symptoms appeared... the massively dilated pupils etc and best of all the 'clinging onto everybody wanting a cuddle' bit! This all seemed fair enough... However after the event, in the taxi home, it transpired that they'd all been sick, one of them very sick, and they all felt a bit ill, despite the other pleasant effects. And none of them could remember much about the night. So I wonder. Es it worth it? I was genuinely afraid they were gonna be very ill indeed. The consensus of opinion was that what they'd been sold probably had a higher bleach content than MDMA.... Watch out! greg 3 0 3

For a night like megadog, the atmosphere is so intense that i really don't think it's a good place to have your first taste of _any_ mind altering drug. the music and the atmosphere are drug enough anyway, and if you're not used to the effects of ecstacy, it may hinder your appreciation of the night - and perhaps evern your health. i always think the best way to try out any drug - once you have made sure that you _really_ want to try it - is to take it in comfortably and familiar surrounding with people you are really comfortable in. It's a totally different story taking a drug like ecstacy at a club, rather than at home, and the more experrience, the better. Another important thing (perhaps the most) is to be sure you can trust who you are buying the stuff off. Et really _isn't_ worth it, if you don't know what you're putting into your body, but if you do, an extremely good night can be had by all concerned. like all the leaflets say, take care of who you're with, where you are and make sure you realise what you're getting into - it's not really something to be taken lightly.
