Does anyone have "Thru the Round Window"? I think it's been out a while (sorry if this is yesterday's news), and I'd like to know if it's worth picking up. And yes, I'd like to know about their new album, too. -boB

I have "Through the Round Window" and list it amongst my favorite records of last year. That probably has a lot to do with my really liking Zoviet France, since the two bands are related. That shows in the way the sounds are built up in Horizon 222 pieces, which tend to be really full and rich, using long climaxes, a wonderful sense of sound and timing, and excellent samples that are kept somewhat ambiguous and nicely mixed in. There was a review of the new cd "Three of Swans" the other day in this list, which gave quite a bit of praise to one of the four songs on the new release. I've got that on order from Ear/Rational now, so maybe I'll also give it a review when I get it. Phil Z
