How long will idm be the temporary "Selected Ambient Works II" list? Hopefully not for long. I like Greg`s ideas for the track names etc, so let`s just stick with that, eh? Actually I`m thinking of buying that album now because I`m feeling a bit left out; I want to be able to send messages that say 1 3 2 4 In fact, that message is my track list for the Flurescence EP by Space Time Continuum! Has anyone heard of "Lagowski"? We got that record at the station and the press release says it`s "on a constructional par with Aphex Twin and Orbital". It`s not bad, really. So how does SAW2 compare to Azimuth? At the moment I`d rather buy Azimuth but I`m going to try and blag them both. Plus Paul Van Dijk runs MFS, Cosmic Baby`s label. Him and CB are Visions of Shiva, aren`t they? I wasn`t too keen on his Saturn V remix, it was a bit repetitive for me. Orbital have remixed Back to the Planet and Mark E Smith is brilliant! And can someone remind me who H30H is? Peace out! Brendan Nelson Lost Transmission From Cowley "I`ve got so much trouble on my mind Refuse to lose Here`s your ticket Hear the drummer get wicked"

I hope not too.

Ohmygod. Such a pity that the mighty Fall aren't IDM - they're my favourite band. Anyone got an original copy of 'Room to Live' they want to get rid of??? john.. -- solo ContinuousEvolution <<<<Tape EP out soon>>>> with i.s.gibson: quanta/flex <<<<Watch this space>>>>

Kenny Larkin - Azimuth This is a release from WARP (apparently NOT on the Artif. Intell. series). I'll bet this is a pretty good album...too bad it's an import, which means "Good luck finding this one!! Hahaha!" I wish I liked top 40, then I could find everything I wanted. ;) -boB

MFS (or what's left of it) is run by Mark Reeder and Torsten Jurk. Cosmic Baby is now on Logic and his new album, Thinking About Myself, is due out in the UK in Mid-April (and they've sent promo tapes out to some people already and I haven't got one and it isn't fair...). Visions of Shiva was indeed a joint Paul Van Dyk / Cosmic Baby project. -- Stephen Hebditch TQM Communications steveh@orbital.demon.co.uk

So have we actually decided that Paul Van Dyk has got nothing to do with Orbital or not? You lot confuse me with all your abbreviations for everything - is it hip in America or something? from U.K Chris (or to abbreviate F.U.K.C!!!!)
