Hey all... a little off topic.. but is anyone aware of a program which will accept midi data to trigger images. This would be the best way for me to go about generating visuals for my live work. I could kick out mdi data from my sequencer etc to the visual proogram and generate moving images. Most VJ apps will respond to MIDI input. There's a wide range of what they do and are capable of doing in response to MIDI data, but most of the more well-known ones (Resolume, VJamm, Union, Grid Pro) can do what you're likely expecting. That being said, I've always found using audio input a much better way of triggering changes in my VJ sets. MIDI clock can help to keep those LFOs in sync though. cheers w --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
