Hello everyone, I am going to sign off idm - but not off idm-making. [so I will remain on that list] Too many emails, I really can't keep up! Wish there was an easier way to get listing and party information than subscribing; maybe one day a web page for global IDM events with calender and location will appear, and then everyone will be happy [of course, the name will maybe have to be different than IDM; or maybe it will be the same; or maybe it will just be discussed again in time] Good musical vibes to all of you, Greetings to those musical muezes I got to know more than others, Happy life in the forefront! That's right, FUCK I Tunes. Who needs them when you have a fully functioning Cock Rock Disco Mp3 store! AH!! I just uploaded 2 new Cock Rock Disco megamixes, with unreleased tracks by many of the CRD artists, most of which are remixed in some way. Tracks by: Warst, Wildflower, Slepcy, Dev/Null, About, Don Augusto Martinez, Duran Duran Duran , Terminal 11, Audioguarde, Doormouse, Next Life, and some unreleased stuff by myself. Plus it's discounted if you go grab it quick... lots of fun, we promise! Also, the amazing new Terminal 11 record is up now available as Mp3 as well. Honestly, this album is amazing. Probably one of the most adventitious and progressive experimental electronic records in years (no, really) To prove it we'll even give you this link to a kick-ass Mp3: http://www.cockrockdisco.com/mp3's/T11-Illegalnervous-adcar.mp3 And the rocking and vaguely controversial Duran Duran Duran album "Very Pleasure" that you've all read about it now up as well. Both albums come as bundled high-quality Mp3s with printable Full-Cd artwork, for a mere $8 Yes, there's more stuff there too, real Cd's, and T-shirts, and all sorts of good-natured fun... Thanks! I was having an honest reaction to a the music and the information on the Cock Rock Disco website. It inspired me to respond in the banter that CRD is written in. There must be some way to reclaim your brain after it has been subjected to a million advertisments. Perhaps regurgutaing words in a context of your own understanding is enough. . More directly "Everybody lie down on floor ... " Is a line from a KLF recored that I love, and the CRD track reminded me of the feeling I had when I first heard the it. CRD 'in my opinion' is a fast food reaction to the deteriation of popular art and music culture. An unashamed account to an overstaed enviroment. I was attempting to voice my affection by emulating the tone of the music. Also I could quite 'theorectically' imagine myself hijacking a nightclub and playing the track before escape on roller skates. .turnstyle --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

no sweat ' I played two of CRD tracks on the local radio here last night. The first one 'bolt thrower in a chinese resturant' seemed to confuse people a little, but I think they liked the other one .. um 'Terminal11 - Cestwhat' It's okay, cause I duely inform people every week that if they don't like the muisc they should get their own radio show! I try very hard to express an ethic of self determination on Air, and combined with humour, honesty I feel this makes for interesting stuff. Music in general has become stale with uniform and processed diatribe. Your music provokes me, infact it offends me slightly and while this is not the conventional action of music, On-Air it provides context to discuss the actual. Keep an ear out on Psurkit.net .. as I will feature CRD this week and carry this discussion further. . It's to late ' with out understanding, you have become and object of my facination. .turnstyle --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
