I have only heard the album "sinking" on merck by mr. projectile, but I will tell you, the entire album is awesome in that contemporary idm rhythmical and melodical sort of way(think neo ouija), and there are some moments of beauty on the album that are startling, the first time I ever heard "you need", the 1st track(with haunting yet light vocals by amy turany), it was at dawn and along with thc and sunrise, quite a blissful soundtrack.. it was hard not to like the rest of the album after that. i have been collecting the merck catalog the past couple of years and they have very solid artists and music as well as distinct characters and "sound". this mr. projectile album really adds to and compliments their catalog. check out machine drum's and deceptikon's releases on merck from last winter, two of my favorites from the year. later, nth.

Stand-out track for me on 'Sinking' is Track 6 - 'I am back'. And check out Deru's 'Trying to remember': up there with the best of the Merck catalogue. alan --On 15 March 2005 08:51 -0800 Nth 808 <nth808@hotmail.com> wrote:
