Plus, the games market is just huge, these days - almost as big as the music
market, itself! Some musicians survive just soundtracking games! It's an
acute piece of cross-marketing, if nothing else.
One day a piece of music will get to No.1 in the music charts on the back of
being a game theme. Personally, I loved Empirion's remix of "Firestarter"
from "Wipeout 2". ...or was that just the instrumental version?!? Oh well -
both were good! I'm old - what do I know?! :-)
Actually, I'll tell you what I know: ...that Richard H Kirk and The Orb will
both be on the bill of a Tsunami benefit gig happening in Sheffield on
February 10th!!! :-O This is breaking news, though, AFAIK so stay tuned for
details, folks!
