I just saw them on Friday in Atlanta. I had a great time at the show. They did play some new stuff near the beginning of the set, but there was piles of stuff from their older albums that they played too. It was a very good show... i saw them last monday in nyc. great visuals, a total acid trip interspersed with political footage and live from offstage shots. weird costume changes, mic stand abuse, various icky substances dripped and spattered on himself and around the stage. first 5 or 6 songs were pretty boring musically, but then they launched into a perfect set of old favorites from various albums. there was even a guest appearance on guitar from al jourgensen on "tin omen". i had reservations on going but was thoroughly happy with having finally seen them. and as far as the comment about the audience's "transgressive" appearance, i'm sure that was meant in good fun, but let's not forget two things: 1) with as much conservatism as there is in this country, there are still a hell of a lot of people to whom that *is* still shocking and transgressive, and 2) maybe they just like looking like that. d. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Funny, at the Houston Skinny Puppy the crowd was full of Christian families and models. Everyone had a balloon and the cake & punch were an extreme delight!!
