and ttrial and error, if you can find it. it took me months to get ahold of one, and it'sonly 26 minutes long, but it's worth it. brilliant stuff. d. Then we're not talking about the same record because Duplex is 48 minutes long. It's pretty easy to find in Germany but that may be different where you come from. r. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

no, i know we're not talking about the same record. someone (perhaps you) mentioned 'duplex' and i agree but i also added 'ttrial and error', the 26-minute EP (also on shitkatapult). both are excellent, but the EP was harder to get ahold of. d. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

It's worth seeking out _Multifunktionsebene_ too. This is the first Apparat full-length from 2001 (engineered by Robert Henke aka Monolake, BTW), and doesn't have a duff track on it (gratifyingly vocal-free too; the vox on _Duplex_ still scares me a bit when it appears ;-)) alan On Sat, 28 Feb 2004 01:46:57 +0100 saltimbocca@gmx.de wrote:

Okk thanks for the tip alan - haven't heard of it. True, the vocals are a bit .... -- I quite see what you mean. They remind me of Radiohead though, which I think is a decent band. Roland Am 28.02.2004 um 14:58 schrieb Alan R. Lockett:
