Just listened to the Autechre track on the ATP 3 compilation. Uh... that can't be them... it's gotta be Bola. Seriously... arpeggios? Gorgeous melodic pads? No textural changes to the percussion loop? Melodic breakdowns? What is this? circa 1997 shite? Good lord, it's either too good to be true, or some crazy joke. thanks for the support. anyways... i downloaded the rest of the ATP shit off of SS and now I don't know if it's been swapped. It's gotta be, because the song labeled Ae sounds sooooo bolaish it's killing me. yet there's nothing else on the cd remotely Ae sounding to match back up. WOW... well I'll be damned. Judging from the percussion sounds and synth tones, my guess is that's a Tri-Rep b-side. Seriously. Well, interestingly enough a part of me is a tad disappointed, because I really like the material on Draft, and was hoping for more of that style on the comp. I guess the mp3 WASN'T mislabeled. No, you probably have the right one, very retro sounding, 808's and all...the Bola track is from Fyuti, so if you have that, you know you'll have the ae one.
