im still having problems backing up vinyl to my mac...
im using Peak, and it seems that everything records fine except for the beginning and end of tracks, which are way too loud for the first millisecond and end up engulfed in a wave of surface noise.
none of that surface noise is audible when i monitor the recording process, but it appears when i play back the waveform...
please advise... also ill change software if theres something easier...
