I guess there's a whole twitter beef about Aphex Twin's DJing and the other artists he's been playing. TSVI, DJ Seinfeld, Zuli, Etch, and others. Here's a Spotify playlist of the ones I could find. You can hear why he chose these tracks. https://open.spotify.com/user/1zfclqz2fqnzd3tfzppsxk5jo/playlist/5rJGgpb7w29ds5p6Fa2vdT?si=74GqG2voTuaZdCy6wnfDgA

the basic premise is this he plays people's tracks w/o IDing them why this is suddenly bothering people, when this has been a tradition for decades, and why aphex is the butt of it, i'm not sure it's personally always annoyed me and i've always sort of looked down at the whole obsession over djs as a brand vs producers and labels but, not enough to really care Clint Anderson Systems Engineer "Freedom -- paint me a picture!" -- Burton Cummings On Wed, Apr 10, 2019 at 3:59 PM Chris Taylor <christaylor415@gmail.com> wrote:

also, last comment, but to tbh, i don't think aphex would ever take credit for someone else's work he would probably tell you his tracks were better anyways :) Clint Anderson Systems Engineer "Freedom -- paint me a picture!" -- Burton Cummings On Wed, Apr 10, 2019 at 9:05 PM Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:

he's probably one of a few people whose support could translate into a significant bump in interest/income for artists he's also one of a few people where fans will dig until they find out who produced the tracks he djs I've seen this conversation recently, mostly about lesser known (than Aphex) but touring/successful djs not sharing tracklists - it is a trip that djs are currently enjoying lots of opportunities to play and make money and producers not nearly as much. unsustainable model misplaced value etc etc On Wed, Apr 10, 2019 at 7:28 PM Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:
