Can anyone tell me much about this release? Hrvatski said its pretty good over at Pitchfork, and I'm wondering if this is anything like Zammuto's Wilscher masterpiece. I think all of mr. wilscher's stuff is fantastic. I'm pretty sure the zammuto release is disc 2 of "solutiore of stareau," which is more like "radio static drum 'n bass." At this point it seems it has all been said, but yeah, it's an amazing album. It's different from Wilscher as The Books is Nick (or whatever his name is now) Zammuto and a cellist from NYC, I believe, whereas Wilscher was just Zammuto. But you prob already knew that if you read the pitchfork thingy... Very worthy effort from Tomlab and vice-versa...
