Not to be TOO terribly redundant, but I've become addicted to "A Collection of Short Stories." This is the real stuff -- good beats, good melodies, widely varying textures ... if you don't have it yet you will. I agree with whoever was criticizing the stories in the booklet. They were simply not edited -- lots of clumsy constructions that a careful editor could have fixed.

Waaaaaa? I feel like a new baby on the block just died. They were my favorite label recently. What happened? Anyone got an Infonet discography so I can snatch up everything I don't have?

Their mother label Creation could not afford to keep Infonet going. They also had another indie sub-label; that too has gone. Beyond that, I don't really know what has happened or what will happen in the future, like who will Bandulu/Reload 'sign' to and if anyone will get the rights to the Infonet back catalogue (like 'Area 212', etc.). Speaking of Bandulu/Reload, were these the _only_ signed acts on Infonet?

As it turns I'm Facebook Friends with Mark Pritchard, and I posted a message to him about "A Collection Of Short Stories" asking why it was unobtainium as a download. Turns out there are complicated licensing issues, but he said he would try and do a remaster/reissue sometime in the next year or so, but that releasing new music takes priority.
