I love both. I can't describe the SND record better than "minimal chords,
skips, and beats," but the Daedelus "Invention" CD is a completely
fascinating meld of IDM and big-band music. I hope Daedelus goes further in
this direction on later releases, integrating "real" instruments instead of
just sampling big-band records...
