I found a CD on a shelf that I hadn't gone through in at least 20 years (!) And I found a CD labeled "IDM Remix 1-14" -- an audio CD but nothing about where it came from or who did the tracks on it. The dates reported on the CD Audio tracks was December 31, 1994 but I don't think that's right because I burned this CD (my handwriting on it) and didn't have a CD burner until a few years after that. Short of downloading all the pre-Y2K IDM list archives and searching through them, I don't know how to find out what the hell is on this. So of course, I ripped it and uploaded it for others to download it and check it out. It seems pretty heavy on the noise-core, definitely after the release of Aphex Twin "Ventolin EP" because a lot of it has that "sharp stick in the ear" approach. I am pretty sure I have a track on it -- probably the last one -- but honestly I have zero memory of working on a track for this. Neither do I have any idea why I have a hand labeled Audio CDR of it, unless I was actually the person who mastered it. Which might be the case ... it has that Waves L1 Ultramaximizer circa 1998 sound to it. http://cornwarning.com/xfer/IDMRemix1994.zip

Looking around, it's probably the case that I didn't own a CD burner until sometime after 1997, though I was one of the first guys in town with one, and used to dub CDs and do DAT to CD transfers for beer. So if that's any indication of timeframe.... On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 8:40 PM kent williams <chaircrusher@gmail.com> wrote:

Kevin Burress figured it out -- this is the release: https://www.discogs.com/Various-IDMList-Remix-Chain/release/107226 But there are 3 tracks I'm missing -- it was originally a 2CDR thing. Anyone know what happened to Christopher Graves, AKA Colongib ? On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 8:40 PM kent williams <chaircrusher@gmail.com> wrote:
