zane is from fla and smaze is from bloomington IN...the 12" was released as
a CD ep as well. i did a set with them at the hefty records night at the
MCA in chicago and was pretty blown away, very deep and dubbed out live
downtempo, with sporadically mixed in hectic DnB beats. the crowd went
pretty wild for their set, and the break dancers were out in ful-effect. it
was very organic, and with live scratching via zave...smaze is also an
incredible break dancer and grafitti artist, and is a close/long-time
friends with scott herron.
be on the lookout for a full-length to drop on hefty in the near
future...you can catch them on the hefty IA tour starting up next week,
refer to the hefty site for dates.
