Cool that this mailing list is still going - i thought it was shut down back around '99... Anyway, i'm a DJ, i've been putting energy into this (techno/idm/industrial mostly) since actually around 1999 or so and i'm wondering if anyone here can help. Is Spotify the only way now to do/get playlists exposed? The other's i looked up all looked quite cumbersome/expensive with the exception of Youtube (which looks about as valuable as FB is for getting art/ideas exposed). Will (oh yeah, and i mean to be doing this from a simple Samsung tablet... is the technology caught up that much or will i have to use a laptop?)

Mixcloud and Soundcloud are what I use the most to listen to DJ mixes. Spotify is great for sharing playlists, but obviously that is much different than an actual DJ set/mix. — Lee On Jul 07, 2017, at 05:14 PM, Dan S <danstowell+idm@gmail.com> wrote: mixcloud? 2017-07-07 22:55 GMT+01:00 William Smith <aoliph@gmail.com>: Cool that this mailing list is still going - i thought it was shut down back around '99...
