Found a song on Napster, given the conversations that have gone on here from time to time, I am really doubtful that this is authentic. Aphex Twin "Ghost in the Shell"? Fact or fiction? Well back in 1997 there was a japanese compilation of exclusive tracks by big-name producers dedicated/produced for/inspired by the "Ghost In The Shell" movie/video game but Aphex Twin was not on those compilations. The producers involved included Takkyu Ishino, Mijk Van Dijk, Brother From Another Planet (Claude Young), Hardfloor, Westbam, Joey Beltram, Scan X, The Advent, CJ Bolland, Dave Angel, and Derrick May. I'm pretty sure that I read that the Mortal + Chemist 12" is a skam release, and if it isn't then it sure as hell should be. It really reminds me of the Mask releases. Beat-fuckery applied to missy elliot, mos def, and who's that guy "I always feel like, somebody's watching me". There are also some songs that don't employ pop samples and those are good too. It comes in a vinyl sleeve with no idication of a label, just black and white artwork.
