Being a former mtv employee I can say that most of the people there are frustrated, and a few appreciate IDM. I'v seen mtv employees at matmos, fischerspooner (I laughed, I cried) and recently chicks on speed. The Matmos incedent was ok because it was the cool art director for mtv.com who is responsible for the radiohead and bjork weboes. Nick Buttlick.. er Butterworth was seen at at fischerspooner show so lets all cross our fingers. When I saw a mtv marketing skumbag who works a full-on shit-eating-grin (he's always got this smile like he's thinking "mmmm, feces") at chick on speed it kinda ruined the show for me, I didn't feel cool for being there anymore. =^..^=
