the fatcat 12 was the first thing i got by them too, and the very next day bright and early i searchedandsearchedandfound the other albums. and i wasn't the slightest bit disappointed. matmos are amazing. no frilly explanation could communicate fully what i think about them, so i'll just say that matmos use sound in the loveliest ways human beings can hope to. i think. there's none worth avoiding, though i haven't heard that weird split cd where the parties involved were meant to compose songs appropriate to the color their titles named.... make sense? anyway, whatever matmos you get your hands on, you certainly should. also drew daniel from matmos has a 12" coming out on... i think lifelike? maybe soundslike? i don't know... one of matthew herbert's labels... but it's out april 23rd also matthew herbert is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally doing it for me lately. i'm new-ish to dancey stuff because i'm skeptical of it for some reason. anyone know any good wobbly drunk house a la matthew herbert or track 3 off the new matmos? gregory also, sometimes i only get about 6 posts in a day from this list? is something wrong with my subscription or is it that slow sometimes? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
