Have you seen this interview with Vladislav Delay by Richard di Santo? http://www.incursion-publishing.com/imr/archive/007f.html It was done in June at the Mutek festival. An interesting excerpt : When asked about the future, Vladislav doesn't see much for himself in the music industry, at least not in the conventional sense: "I'm looking for new ways for people to receive music, looking to get out of the record industry and into an indescribable thing (so far)... :) It's possible that when he said that, all his records had already been handed over to the record companies... Since June, he has put out one album as Luomo and another as Uusitalo, and I believe that the Uusitalo material at least was already finished by that time (since he was playing it at his live shows in the summer). On the other hand, he has another album coming out on Mille Plateaux early next year, so maybe his plans to "move on" have been put on hold...
