i have to agree with this. that's why i get flustered when people ask
"what kind of hardware is (insert dude) using to make (insert
song/album)????"
like, what, you're gonna buy it and make the same kinda stuff or
somewhat vaguely similar stuff? there's a difference between that and in
asking how to create a certain sound. when you're trying to emulate a
sound, you can do this by any means possible. blaming your current
os/software/hardware won't do you any good. i can buy the best
paintbrush in the world but that doesn't mean i'll be the next
rembrandt. just be happy with what you have and you'll surely pump out
something good. one thing i'd like to know more about though, is the
textbased mac sound program. i'm incoherent.
