Agreed. You'd think with the wealth of songs to choose from, somebody might want to do something a bit more creative. But to contradict myself- the final song on there, though, the Charlie Clouser remix of Starfuckers is bloody wonderful. All crunchy and glitchy. The disc as a whole is at least decent. The Dave Ogilvie mix is another favorite. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web. I was especially depressed to see a complete lack of non-Nothing Studios personnel doing remixes, except for Adrian Sherwood (who lost his touch about 10 years ago, imo). With the wealth of IDM artists on his label, not to mention the splendid Coil, who've been on the last 3 remix CDs, you'd think he could've come up with something better than just Telefon Tel Aviv. -- andrij. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I agree also. I think coil and anyone of the nothing licensed artists should have done remixes. Great call on Telefon Tel Aviv. Did you all notice that one of those guys also did the Frail remake, and they also are credited for additional sound design on the great collapse. that drum progamming in that track is real nice. In my opinion those guys saved the ep. My hats off to them. I cant wait to hear a full length. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
