In'. The book features images and paintings from the past 10 years as well as pieces never before seen. Only 50 books will be made available to the public with the proceeds going to the Red Cross<< I've just seen this interesting snippet on NME.COM and wondered if anyone has any idea how to get hold of one of these books and what sort of cost it will be (imagine it will be pretty high!)... Also does anyone have any recommended grafitti books; I came across something a few months back saying there was going to be a book of Schoolly D's art published but not yet seen that one, and I'd love to get hold of a book of Futura 2000's stuff though as far as I'm aware one has never been published... get Stephen Powers'(aka Espo) "The Art of Getting Over." There's a pretty nice selection of artists complete with stories and commentary. he talks about the early scene in Philly (with Cornbread, etc.), Sane & Smith in NY, the FX Crew, and more. also: Upski's first book, "Bomb the Suburbs," is a classic. It's not a graf book per se; there's everything from race theory, music, hitch-hiking memories, and a ?funny/disturbing? essay "In the Defense of Wiggers." Enjoy! ps: I am assuming you know about artcrimes.com and 12ozprophet.com? both are great. z _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
