Hi. I was looking for a Bola discography, but could not find one online. I checked the Bola page at http://www.biteit.net/bola/ , which looked nice but made no sense(?). Is there a discography here somewhere? Then I went to the Skam Records page at http://www.skam.co.uk/ , and found it to be extremely confusing (although, again it looked pretty). Finally I went to the Skamography at http://www.enteract.com/~clietz/skam/skamography.htm , which is fairly complete but I need more specifics on non-Skam releases by Bola. What I'm looking for in particular are: 1. Is Bola also called Intron? I seem to recall reading that here on this list but can't be sure. If so, then what releases besides Mask 200 has Intron appeared on? 2. Bola is Darrell Fitton, right? Doesn't some version of _Artificial Intelligence 2_ feature a track (or two) by him? What specific version is this? 3. A tracklisting for _Mauver_. 4. A complete listing of compilations Bola has appeared on. I know of _Skampler_, _Mask 200_, and _0161_. 5. What other aliases does Bola go under? I seem to recall mention of that _Shapes_ 3x12"(?). Lots of questions... wishing there was an online resource out there. There probably isn't one. It is amazing to notice that though the 'Net is full of information most of the searches one does for something really useful turns up nothing (says one who searched in vain for glibc-2.1.x documentation, found only old ones but then figured out that he could use 'info libc' :). Maybe we should create one.

Supposedly right (they do sound the same). The limited edition triple vinyl version (WARPLP23LTD) has two Fitton tracks, ``Blipsalt'' and ``Metalurg''. The limited edition double CD version has just ``Blipsalt''. I don't know about other formats, but I know there is a 2xLP and a single CD version, plus probably at least one MC version.

That was a subject of heated debate some time ago, but I would conclude that the Shapes 3x12" is indeed Fitton. There's no verification, of course, but the sound is very familiar. I don't know of any other aliases.
