Oh, I wish I didn't have to hear any more of this "a vote for
Nader is a vote for Bush" or "a vote for Nader is a wasted vote" silliness.
First of all, a vote for Gore is basically a vote for Bush & vice
versa, since they have pretty much identical stances on pretty much every
really important issue (military spending, US military violence in foreign
countries, corporate welfare, health care, social welfare, prison industry
& prison privatization, etc.).
Secondly, even if Nader does not wind up winning this election, a
vote for Nader is not a wasted vote. If he gets 15% of the popular vote
this year, he will get matching federal funds in his next presidential
campaign. Also, the more votes he gets this year, the more viable he will
seem as a candidate when running next time. So a vote for Nader can be a
vote for those things, & other things that I'm sure I'm not thinking of
right now.
Also, you never know what can happen still. Little events can be
very important, for example, I'm thinking of the way how Jesse Ventura had
practically no support until he participated in the gubernatorial debates &
then shot up the polls and won the election (which is another reason why it
is SO bad that Ralph was barred from the debates).

Nader, too, plus he'll open the source to Supercollider, Logic
Audio, and OSX.
