iF YOU GUYS HAVENT HEard richard devine yet, i strongly recommend it..he's been getting a lot of recognition lately. his music is really great!! about 10 million bleeps and bloops per song haha...he's done a remix of come to daddy on a schematic compilation. .and he's straight out of miami-my hometown...yeah boy!!!! represent!!! i saw him perform the other day at south beach. for all you music makers, my friend went up to where they were playing, and he told me that richard has a whole laptop dedicated to running generator (native instruments)...thats where he does his tweaks and other things..... d

ditto

Warp 10+3 Remixes, not schematic. He has tracks on the Schematic Compilation(s) Worth seeking out, and not just for his tracks.

No, Atlanta last I heard -- he's still in college there.

Maybe that's his new strategy. I've seen him running cubase and an Access Virus when he plays live too. He does have a pretty comprehensive studio of gear, which is all fodder for the computer... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Well, Schematic has all their releases up for sale in MP3 format on emusic.com ... legit mp3s, not too expensive if you're not a quality hog. I bought them because to me they sound much better than any of the MP3's I've come across that people have made from the vinyl. Including my own (I own most of the schematic stuff and my vinyl-to-mp3 conversions weren't too great). So anyway, they have the Richard Devine EP for around 5 bucks, no tax, no shipping necessary. and it's good stuff. they also have the Schematic compilations there in mp3, although since you can get them in CD it might be better to do that... unless you want vinyl, in which case, get the vinyl. But you just wanted to hear R.D. before you buy, I assume. -adam -- Adam Piontek [http://www.tcinternet.net/users/damek/] ICQ: 3456339 [damek@earthling.net] ... Would anyone happen to know when the new Richard Devine lp is due out? I heard a bunch of advance mp3 tracks on a hotline server, and he whetted my appetite, i guess. But some of the tracks seemed a bit odd, very abstract, while others seemed to put in the ugly categorization of autechre-ish...anyway, is it already out, still being worked on, or was i just hallucinating when i downloaded them? Thanks. I replied last time about RD and this module stuff because i'm mad for it. Heard this over and over and happy to hear it over and over again. Same with the track Strum he uploaded. I like his new dreamy ambient piece - https://soundcloud.com/richarddevine/dreamseq2 Makes me long for the mid 90's. On 12 August 2016 at 15:02, Clint Anderson <clinta@gmail.com> wrote:
