Every Wednesday Etherea Records here in NYC hosts an IDM at Brownies, a
bar in the east village. The bar is at Ave. A between 10th and 11th.
Starts at midnight and is free. Supposedly there is a Schematic night
(some of the Schematic crew moved to NYC recently) on wed. night as well
at a place called Pyramid, but I think its $10 and for me that's not worth
it, but you might like it.
As for shops:
Etherea records Ave A between 4th and 5th
Other Music 4th and Lafayette
Mondo Kims St. Marks Place/Astor Place
