hi, i've been thinking lately of setting up a small-scale mailorder of sorts which would carry all sorts of idm microlabels (think underscore, kracfive, & their ilk), & perhaps bigger labels like schematic, orange, etc. (which are usually impossible to find in stores, at least around here), specifically for canadian customers who find ordering to the u.s. a costly thing. needless to say it would be more of a public service than a massive online store. anyhow, the point of this message is that i'm wondering if there's any interest of that sort of thing. so, this is for anyone who would be interested in ordering from such a store: could you please email me privately about your intents, & any comments & ideas you may think of? i'm only testing waters so i have a vague idea of what response i should expect from such a project. when emailing me, please tell me briefly what labels/artists you'd be willing to purchase & roughly how many units per month. note that this is merely in the sketching stage right now & that it might not even see the light of day, but if i see that there is demand, i'd be glad to put it up (or at least help doing so). so please be honest, don't just go & say "yes!!!! good idea dude!!!" if you don't think you'd really order from such an outlet. thanks to all for your time, & have a nice day, -- david turgeon at http://www.notype.com

uhm, what do you mean by "all these labels and more"? i saw no mention in mechanical graveyard's "label catalogue" of the only labels i mentioned in my message (which for reference were underscore, kracfive, schematic & orange.) stores like the one you mention are indeed cool, & they're also rather common in large canadian cities. however, they rarely order from the really obscure labels which i know many on this list have at least a remote interest into. hence my project. btw-- thanks for all who replied to the original message with comments on the project. office work is keeping me quite busy this week, but i'll try to reply to you guys in the next days. -- david turgeon at http://www.notype.com
