Does this imply a relationship which will result in music? Or, is Jamie finally going to put something out? His profile has been very low since, well, since ever I've heard him. Jamie Hodge already has released material for Plug Research in the form of a track on the recent Voices In My Lunchbox compilation cd under the guise "Jesse Peterson & Tenants Band." There will also be a track from The Tenants on the forthcoming Plug Research Jazz compilation. Other artists planned for this comp include Farben, Rus Gabriel, Cinematic Orchestra, Eight Miles High, Sluta Leta, The Tenants, Nate Kraft, Low Res, Sassy, and Thomas Fehlmann to name a few. There is also a track by The Tenants on Freezone 5 called "Crawlin." Dont forget about the Jamie Hodge remix on DJ Vadim's USSR Reconstructions too. Jamie has also been a member of the electronic jazz outfit Cojoint (along with Move D and a few others). Cojoint just released a new album on Source last week and have a previous album on the Source sublabel KM20. At one time Jamie mentioned that he was planning on starting his own label and hoped to release another record on Plus 8 but that was a year or so ago so I dont know if those projects are still in the works. But the new Cojoint & Plug Research comps are defintely real so check them out if you want a fresh Jamie Hodge fix. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Forgot my usual discography For those who arent familiar with Jamie Hodge and his Born Under A Rhyming Planet guise, he released two stellar mini-lps on Plus 8 in 93 and 95 not unlike some of the early autechre, beaumont hannant or nev. Lots of changes of pace and direction within each track all often with the most exquisite builds. Both releases still hold up well against current any intelligent techno/idm release. But his more recent material under his Cojoint and The Tenants guises doesnt do as much for me. Hodge also did a spectacular remix a year or two ago for the Sensorama remix lp on the Ladomat label. Other remixers on that lp were plaid, claude young, mouse on mars, global comm to name a few. A real gem of a release. Anyway, here is the Hodge discog i threw together. I'm sure i'm missing a few pieces but this is complete enough. Hodge Releases: . Born Under a Rhyming Planet: Spasm LP (Plus 8) . Born Under a Rhyming Planet: Analouge Heaven LP (Plus 8) . Cojoint: berger hodge moufang ruit cd/2xlp (KM20) . Cojoint: earprints cd/2xlp (Source) Comp appearances: . Blueprints Of Modern Technology Vol 2 comp cd (Plus 8) . Trance Atlantic Express comp 2xcd/4xlp (Volume) <--- Blop is such a great track! . Freezone 5 comp 2xcd/5xlp (SSR) . Voices In My Lunchbox comp cd (Plug Research) . Voices In My Lunchbox, vol 2 12" (Plug Research) Remix appearances: . Sensorama: Zu Gast Auf Der Welcome Insel cd/2x12" (Ladomat 2000) . DJ Vadim: USSR Reconstructions cd (Ninja Tune) -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
