(taken from http://www.rise.co.uk/orbital/audio.html) +++++++++++++ On April 24th Radio One are interviewing Orbital on the release of their new album. Rise Live will be broadcasting this interview live over the internet using Real Audio (TM) between 8:30-9pm GMT. For the 24 hours following the "netcast" the whole album will be available to listen to and/or download in Real Audio format. For now we have details on the new Single 'The Box' & LP 'In Sides' We also have a full Discography, with sound samples from nearly every release. Also worth checking out is the CDLink we did with the last EP "Times Fly" and the last album "Snivilisation" . If you don't have CDLINK yet go click on the Voyager CDLink logo over there, and then come back and play. +++++++++++++++ ` Gonzales - Delsin ` m.w.j.vanderwielen@student.utwente.nl ` http://wwwedu.cs.utwente.nl/~wielen

The latest word is that it will be a triple cd single including Impact (and hopefully Remind), The Girl w/ the Sun in Her Head, Dwr Budr, Out There Somewhere?, Satan but, unfortunately, no Halcyon. The plan is to release it on cd without crowd noise and on vinyl with crowd noise (or was it the other way around?). It may be out by the end of the year but, now that they've decided to return to the States for a short tour, that may delay things a bit. Here's hoping that they decide to make it an LP--- three cd singles could get a bit pricey... On Mon, 28 Oct 96 16:14:45 GMT "Paul.Spann" <spannpm@soc.plym.ac.uk> wrote:

there seems to be rumours about that there is a live l.p from orbital soon... anyone know anything about this... they should have released one along time ago to coincide with their performance at festivals a year after their now 'legendary' glasto performance a couple of years ago...but didn't paul

It's supposed to be out by Christmas this year. Tracks aren't settled yet, but apparently they have "Girl with the Sun in Her Head," and "The Box," live, and I think something from a Peel session. You can already find the live "girl...." on the tribute compilation to Sally Harding, the photographer. See the review in this months' mixmag. Other facts at: www.rise.co.uk/orbital Phil Downey

this seems to be plausible, seeing as they were recording all of there shows to DAT on the last amer. tour. i had to go to the store and buy a adapter for them so they could hook up the DAT recorder at their show in Grand Rapids. ep np:sun electric-30.7.94
