2.18.98 New Fingernail Album Confirmed
Atomic Recordings (Belgium) will release "Three
Suites by Fingernail" at the end of March. It
will be a 12 track vinyl-only release. We'll
have soundclips up as soon as we have the
artwork for the jacket, which should be really
stunning since it's being designed by the same
guy who designed the "so, backwards" artwork
(Micheal Nigro).

2.13.98 Lots of news!
What do Fingernail, Bochum Welt, Mark Clifford
(Disjecta, Seefeel), Kurt Ralske (Ultra Vivid
Scene), Sean O'Neil (Flowchart, Flowtron, Mall,
Commercial, etc..), Junior Varsity KM, Blink
Blink, Quasimojo and Octorock all have in
common?
They're all going to appear on the upcoming so,
backwards remix 2xLP!
There's no release date yet, but we've got a
feeling it will be soon since almost all of the
remixers have finished thier tracks. It will be
released on Fuzzy Box and distributed by Darla.

There's a rumor that Fingernail is going to
release a 10" on Belgian label Atomic Records.
We don't know the details, but we do know that
it would consist of three full suites, and will
be excellent. We're not sure if it'll be
available domestically, but we'll keep you
posted.

If any of you are near the Philadelphia area
(and even if you're not), you'll want to check
out the Philadelphia Ambient Consortium
(

for news
on local shows, artists, labels, radio shows,
record stores and more. It's kind of like a
mini-hyperreal for Philadelphia, except better.
