Hello, I am venturing out of lurk mode for a minute :). I was listening to the above mentioned group today, and did anyone notice that one of the tracks on this CD (7 maybe) seems to be a remix of Squarepusher's "Come On My Selector?" It has the same sort of 'stepping' analog bass, same samples, and everything. Is this guy Squarepusher? ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Very nice record, though, imo. I found the full length as a whole a bit more reminiscent of Tobin...not as technically stunning, but dark, dusky and in the same vein. jeff Irene McC wrote:

Yea, I too think this record is pretty cool even if it is pretty derivative of squarepusher. Is it just me or is there one part where he steals a riff from E8 Boogie? Anyway... the biggest problem I had with this album was that there were the parts where he used a synth guitar and saxaphone sound instead of bringing in musicians. He brought in a rhodes player for one song, so why couldn't he at least get a sax player? I dunno... just always sorta bothered me cuz that song with the coltrane summertime sample could have ruled much more with live sax. --Aaron
