Yes, Holger Hiller, Thomas Fehlmann and Maurizio were all in this band plus one other bloke hmmm time to dig out some holger hiller records again i nearly joined his putative band in 1987 who knows what might have happened? His masterpiece - the video for Ohi-ho bang-bang strangely reminiscent of coldcut's "timber" but 10 years earlier this was holger and karl bonnie from RSW in 85(?) fehlmanns readymade was one of the earliest sample tunes in europe then he became an orbette for a long time my fave fehlmann track is a mix of logic freaks on a japanese cd his new lp on r&s is not bad ... morris ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A SITE FOR SORE EARS - The Mixmaster Morris Homepage http://www.southern.com/MMM/ NINJA TUNE - http://www.ninjatune.net ICQ no . 28424946 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Andreas Dorau. Love his "Demokratie" and I have a cd of his released fairly recently from Germany (I like Holger's stuff better). He's had a track or two on various comps, as well.I love the early Holger with Billy Mackenzie howling like a banshee in the background. Has he done anything since "Little Present" that you know of?

Jeff: Andreas Dorau has done some things on Hamburg's Ladomat in a minimal housey vein. Latest was a cover of a Bee Gees song (but it was in German and I haven't figured out yet what the track was). Andrew ~(({[Endemic~Distortion]}))~ wrote:
