Lego Feet - 12" - $450 MASK1 - 12" - $320 I hope whoever bought these knows that both of these records are horrible. If PJ had kept all the Skam releases instead of selling them via mailorder he could probably retire. It's about the music? leif

Even if I loved a 12" more than any other music I have, I would put that much cash towards buying some gear and trying to catch than vibe myself. IMO those kinds of prices show a real lack of perspective. Perhaps it'd be less judgemental to say "a very different perspective from mine", but I don't care. :-) Michael ____________________________________________ "Also, he has automatic evasion devices" http://www.vuw.ac.nz/~michael/jj.html

Actually, I think they're, um, good, but certainly no one has to pay $400 a piece for records that are good, better than most, etc. By the way, both of those ended up going over the above prices & dollars were accompanied with trade items. I have heard of the high prices for those records, but what really shocked me ws MASK 3. Did anyone else notice this? It was auctioned for $192. That record came out, what, 1, maybe 2 months ago? Not to mention it had only one "known" musician on it. I thought that maybe I overpaid for mine when I had to order it from Germany & pay more for shipping than the record, but now, relatively, I don't feel silly at all. Marc Poirier

Those prices are pretty ridiculus, but at least the the person is getting a piece of auditory art......consider what some other people slap down outrageous amounts of money for ....beanie babies ;) Rob who would like to see a Skam Beanie Baby Codec! http://www.mindstorm.com/codec LogiQ http://www.sinless.com/logiq

The true irony of this is that if the label was ever to see such prices for the records in question they'd be easily able to keep them in print, but then if they were kept in print they'd never fetch these prices!! Reminds me to start buying vinyl again. I know i don't have turntables anymore, but who cares it'll only make the vinyl in question more valuable as it will be unplayed! :) Regards, John

word. it's about the music folks, not testing the bounds of marginal price elasticity for bonus trainspotter macho points. lego feet at $450 (secondary market) OR red planet 9 at $5.99 (submerge)??? do the math. sam walton: buy american, support our union workers.... i should have posted a full review on the aspen cd that i got a while back long before now but will do so as soon as i head back up to seattle tomorrow, but this was some decent material. in some ways, reminiscent of boc's kicked back melodies, although at time the percussion just didn't work well for me. but worth checking out for those subtle melodies, no doubt

as if record collecting never existed before mighty idm added it to its ever-fattening list of innovations.
