try infiniti's new album 'skynet' on tresor. atkins influenced the german bc/cr guys, and then they inspired him. that's what it sounds like. very much atkins but also some new elements. it's nice to know that the guy who did 'clear' back in '83 is still active and trying new things. much more subtle and minimal than most of his previous work but still warm like the detroit sound. anybody know what happened to 3070, rick davies? i heard he went crazy/ier. -bauri .
