I totally disagree about the Autechre mix of various artists. I'm assuming you're just listening to it straight through, right? Try it in a mix. It's golden. It reminds me a lot of early Porter Ricks stuff, like "Port of Transition" - all grimy, textured, and gritty. Play with those EQs a bit while you're mixing it with something on Chain Reaction and it's gorgeous. I also disagree about the monolake remix being boring - *listen carefully*. I would call it subtle, not boring. The ae mix on the East Flatbush remixes *is* nice, tho. picked up the flatbush remixes, pretty good, not as boring to me as most people have commented, I actually liked the ae mix, generally my opinion is low when it comes to ae remixes such as with their mix on the new various artists remix ep. the ae track on there is so fucking boring, its followed up by a funkstorung mix which is pretty good and the a pole mix which lives up to the rest of poles work and then a very boring monolake track. Also listen to the new Bjork 12" with mark bell mixes, really good stuff, didn't buy it though also did anyone notice that the end of the devine mix of tried by 12 sounds a lot like one of the tracks from his ep?
