Jega samples the film soundtrack on "Nausicaa"; "Type Xero" uses a different manga artist (looks a bit like Masume Shirow) and the album has a track called "Mai" also another Japanese comic book... naaah...t'aint masamune shirow....(god, I'd love that guy to do a sleeve for datathief!) too clean..probably one of the AIC crew in my opinion... I'm sure jega picked up a few manga art books in japan when he went over last... (which makes me giggle as in the forcefield interview he sez he does all his art himself!!) as for nausicaa....seems like the disney corp have a strong tie with the guys that made nausicaa (studio ghibli), so If they hear about it well.....surprised no drooling anime nerd has grassed already....though to be honest most hardcore anime otaku wouldn't touch this kinda music with a bargepole! and joe hisaishi the guy that wrote the original music for the movie is the japanese equivalent of john williams, so I guess that means BIG money if the shit hits the fan!!! peacyweece! bri

there are many things that indicate Jega liking anime. 1st there is the whole Nausica? thing, then there is obviously the Type Xero cover art. Intron i believe is some sort of manga reference, as is "Mai". "Nia" probably is also. there is no mistaking that "Kid Sista" has an asian feel to it and D.M.C. (Live) has samples of anime hand to hand combat and gun fire in it. i'm sure there are probably a host of others that i haven't figured on yet. perhaps this is the reason so many Skam items are limited. there are hoping copies will never make it to Japan ???л ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. No doubt, they're referencing to Shirow Masamune's (gorgeous, btw) art book "Intron Depot 1" here... with "ID2" soon to hit the shelves sometime around this month... (On a silly note: What's he gonna do with "ID4"?!? ^_^;)

Hmmm... chances are noone would notice these CDs under all the JPop discs anyway, soooo... tell 'em they can now safely stop limiting their stuff... :) -- Kurt B.
