a friend of mine is looking for information on an artist called "hiroshi" from japan, possibly currently living in NYC. this guy had given her a cassette of some of his music (of course the cassette was unlabeled), and the tape has since gotten munged. she wants to replace it, but lost contact with this guy. he also has a CD released in japan and europe, which also supposedly was released in the USA this summer. realize this is a long shot, just thought maybe somebody knows who she's looking for. thanks a bunch, -jimg ____________________ skoop @ slackers.net

Hiroshi is a pretty popular name in Japan so it might be difficult to single out exactly who you're talking about. I know of three japanese producers all called Hiroshi: Hiroshi Fujiwara from the Nite Grooves label, Hiroshi Morohashi from the Shield, Djax & Acacia labels, and Hiroshi Watanabe from the Oxygen Music Works label.
