actually today i felt really bad all day
this is because i read a load of horrid music papers
round a friends flat this morning and they made me feel ill
especially all this 10-years-of-saint-paul-oakenfold crap
about how he invented dance music, drugs and going out after bedtime
and 64 page histories of the last decade that don't mention
anything not personally vetted for worthlessness by Pete tong and co
and of course, black people didn't have anything to do with it whatsoever
it was all invented by four london lads on holiday in ibiza
really?
i cant believe people are still writing that crap
i cant believe there isn't a single journalist in the uk
with the balls to stand up and say the emperor has no clothes
creamfields was the apotheosis of corporate dance mediocrity
the altamont of our aspirations
and if I hear the story about saint pauls epic pilgrimage to the
holy island once more I'm going to visit the writer personally
and stick my boot up their backside.
I feel much better already.
