actually i saw it too at the virgin in SF, and after listening to one of the discs i decided to
shell out the 35 dollars for it (two discs, japanese). i thought it was going to be new tracks,
completely unreleased tracks, or mo'wax tracks remixed by ape (whoever ape is), but it just turned
out to be two cds of tracks from mo'wax, most of them are remixes, some of them have already been
released, even some tracks that are in original form that are available on the artist's proper full
length (dj shadow, as one, etc.). one each cd there are about four "skits" inbetween some tracks
that were done by kan takagi(?). the skits are merely just mostly random bits of noise or talking
that range from 8 seconds to 1.5 minutes. after actually taking a good look at the track listing i
found out that i have about 75% of the tracks. and the other 25% i could have done without. thank
you mo'wax for a nearly useless comp, that looked like new material from the cover of the cd case,
considering it did say james vs. nigo on the cover, along with sticker that said only "UNKLE
featuring Nigo and Scratch Pervert. im not really mad, i just think that a track listing or some
sort of explanation of what was inside was is order... oh, it did come with a small poster that
would have been really cool if it didn't have a cut 8 inches long in it, on purpose so that it
could be folded easily.
think first
