Well, it's probably too late now, but I say

I'd say especially if his does a DJ set.

Yes, finally a person who knows what they're talking about when it comes to Roni Size. Was this the End thing that went out on Radio One? It was wicked. Got it on tape (well, an hour of it). Amazing as it is, I try not to listen to it too much, so as not to wear out those dubplate choons (Dictation Remix/BreakBeat Era Remixes) before they come out properly (Dope Dragon LP due early next year/Breakbeat Era liscenced to XL) I saw the whole crew in Manchester and it was amazing - some of the stuff they played was just unbelievably good. When it all comes out it will blow the current wave of jungle to shit... As for them 'live', well I admit I was sceptical, but after seeing them on BBC 2, the way they've put it all together is excellent - a proper live band with Roni working the samples and breaks, Krust the strings and atmospherics, DJ Die keyboards and scrathes and Suv 'Special Effects'. Worth going to just for this, but certainly a more chilled affair and less clubby. Downers = Monkey Mafia supporting. Big beat bollox... They should have had Reprazent DJ beforehand (or even better afterwards), or at least some affiliated person like Bill Riley (BTW, anyone heard the new releases on Protocol (4&5)). So yeah, go. If you do, give me a shout and tell me what you think. I'm off to see him and Manchester Uni on Friday... Gb.

I don't think so, there was no mentioning of Radio One. But hey I don't really mind I as there :-)

The live broadcast on BBC2 was really special. To see a D'n'B band in action just like they were any regular band. It gives a whole new meaning to "playing "techno" music live" Have on video if someone is interested.
