I'd like to suggest that for ALL the little irrelevant threads which start out like this, people who have something to say, PLEASE do us all the service of replying IN PRIVATE to the original poster. That goes for: -advice to wayward souls of any age/gender/composition. [!!!] -advice regarding who/what/where-ing gear (1200's etc) etc. -replying to FOR SALE lists ["ooh, I'll buy that!"] and so on. It's not the initial posts which piss me off, it's the people who reply to the list thinking we all care how smart you are(n't). You can still be helpful, just be helpful quietly. Basically, before you hit REPLY TO ALL, think to yourself, do hundreds of people around the world REALLY want to read this? Does it pertain to intelligent dance music et al???? Because more often then not, the answer is NOPE and although you might think nothing of it, the list members might think you're butt dumb, and stick your address in a filter and *poof* before you know it, you're talking to yourself wondering where everyone went. I digress. My point is, this list isn't 1/2 as bad as people make it out to be (right teep it's 3/4 bad ;) BUT it would be a whole hell-pingful more better (mmmmm) if the s/n ration dropped significantly.
