Um. I had read in the `News For The Record' section of _Record Collector_ magazine (back in 1993 or so) of a compilation called "European & American Technological Innovations Volume 1", which supposedly was to feature tracks by APHEX TWIN, BLACK DOG, and some other folks who I cannot remember. Anyway, I never did see this comp come out or heard it being talked about anywhere, and was wondering if anyone knew what I was talking about? Might it either have had a name change before it's release, or did I just miss it altogether? snoitavonni. .`--). | ' christopher miller ? ? -' evil@digital.net O.' '

"European & American Technological Innovations Volume 1" is a quite good techno album... I believe you are referring to the series of compilations released on the new electronica label. I believe there are six 'Global Technological Innovations' comps all together. The one you are referring to is "Chronological Harmonisations vol 1. It has tracks from Reload/Global Comm, As One, Carl Craig and Aphex Twin among others. This entire series of comps are some of my all time favorites featuring tracks from all of the best techno producers. Artists featured on these comps include Underground Resistence, Mark Gage, Robert Leiner, Stacey Pullen, Dan Curtin, Juan Atkins, Dave Clarke, Dave Angel, Aubrey, Bandulu, Russ Gabriel, Richard Kirk, Max 404, Quadrant, 2000 & One, Blake Baxter, Neil Landstrumn, B12, Ian Pooley, Mark Broom, Neuropolitique, Shake, Claude Young, and Steffan Robbers. All are must have releases for those who would like to see some of the more innovative styles of techno. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
