Hello I am introducing myself as new to the list after scanning the archives, hope I have something to offer. I am pretty heavily involved in the scene in Edinburgh, Scotland, and maintain a web site for it. Obviously I hype the site now and again, but hopefully some of the artists and labels featured are of interest: Boards of Canada, 6k, Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt, Being, Stephen Brown ... Sativae, Scandinavia, T&B, Subjective, Pi Recordings, Drought ... Plus all the usual charts and reviews and stuff. I am currently making a mix tape of all the above artists/labels which I hope to offer for sale with a cost covering materials and shipping. My personal choice in music at the moment is pretty much on the eletro edge, my favourite tune at the moment is I-F's Space Invaders. Patiently awaiting for the full release of the other parts of this compilation series on Interdimensional Transmissions, or are any of the others out yet? Can anyone give me websites for the following? Autechre Plaid Warp I.L.L. ItNo.5 is in white label at the moment. It is as strong if not stronger then ItNo.4. (Quick up to snuff for those of you who don't know. The label is Interdimensional Transmissions. The ep series is called FROM BEYOND and features varied artists. The plan is to feature 4 diff artists across 4 diff 12"'s with the entire compilation put onto CD sometime this fall.) Coming up on 5 is a storming electronic funk (in the highest sense of the word) cut from sluts strings and 909 called "Starchild". It's a tearing amalgamation of upfront breaks and down low electro. Big BIG breakdown a go go and I don't mean with a snare roll set up. Also on No.5 is a superb 4/4 electro (yes it can be done) dub cut "I am sitting in version" from Flexitone with more bass then drum and bass for papa rolled up into one and hints of the producers recent affliction with Lee Scratch Perryism. Rounding out the release is Soul Oddities finest work (under the nom de bomb, Phonecia). Their contribution is a pong like (yes as in the old school video game) bouncing bit of electro repetitism which does not dissapoint in the 'move your body' department. And last, 4E, (Khan's older brother?) drops a bit of stock funky electronica which would stand out a bit more if it weren't for all it's brutishly bombastic brothers on this, a mere 12". Oh sh!t, I'd tell you about the lock grooves on the record but you'll have to buy in and find them yourself. Teep Obligatory IDM content: the "From Beyond" series is partly pressed into colored vinyl and placed into silk screened jackets. ITNo.4 is grassy green and ITNo.5 *may* be purple, if they can pull it off. ;-)

Clarification time. (Yeah yeah welcome back tp). The plan is to feature 4 diff artists on EACH 12" over the course of 4 ep's. Speaking of the future, I heard the remainder of the 'FROM BEYOND' series work while racing around the streets of Ann Arbor and all I can say is LOOK OUT FOR THE SHAKE TRACK! (Shake aka Anthony Shakir aka The Man). Oh and the Krok cut is lekker too. Out like Ellen, Teep
