It's nice to know we have the second in a royal line of
techno-punx to piss off everybody including his fans
(after our friendly neighborhoud AFX).
Maybe he's a bit unrefined in his version of deconstructionary
practices, but everyonce in a while ya gotta get speeded up,
jump around the place, wreak havoc, and smash it up!!
I'm just waiting for Mr. James to con MTV into doing the
official 'APHEX TWIN UNPLUGGED'. We get to chuckle
when we see him attach all his equipment, make an
obnoxious analog ruckus for 7 seconds, noticeably unplugs
the power bar and jumps off into the audience to talk about
the beauty of environmental ambience courtesy of the studio's
air conditioning.
Maybe not as intriguing as sandpaper, but a nasty chuckle
nonetheless,,,
