Given the recent discussion about 'idm', repeat after me:

While it may have originally been defined as intelligent dance music, it's
safe to say that that doesn't exactly cover the contents (anymore). Now it
has become a generic term, like walkman, to xerox, to fedex etc. etc.
Then what exactly is IDM? By definition (!!) the stuff that is considered
appropriate for discussion here! *We* are continuously defining and
re-defining IDM, it's an evolutionary process.
